Rockwood Park Golf Course is easy to find. We're located across the road from
the Regional Hospital. The hospital route is clearly marked from most areas of
Saint John. Click the map to the right to access a detailed map.
Directions from all accommodations located in
West Saint John
Proceed to Highway # 1 and head east across the Saint
John Harbour Bridge ( toll bridge – 50 cent toll ) and take exit # 123.
Make a left turn towards Millidgeville and the Saint John Regional Hospital at the traffic light
at the top of the exit ramp.
Follow the signs to the hospital along Somerset Street. The hospital signs will direct you to
turn left on Sam Davis Drive.
The golf course is 2.8 KM straight ahead and just past the hospital entrance at 1255 Sandy Point.
You’ll see the entrance to the Rockwood Park Aquatic Driving Range on the right hand side
just prior to reaching the hospital entrance. Drop in and blast a bucket before your round.
Directions from Hampton Inn at East Point Shopping
From parking lot proceed down Fashion Drive and make a left turn onto Retail Drive.
Follow Retail Drive to the traffic lights on Rothesay Avenue.
Turn left on Rothesay Avenue and move immediately to the right hand lane. Make a left turn at the next traffic light (only about a distance of 100 yards) at the Deluxe restaurant. This road leads to the Saint John throughway heading east.
To access the golf course you will need to reverse directions and head west on the throughway at exit 129, less than 1 mile away.
As you proceed down the off ramp at exit 129 there will be a sharp left turn which takes you under the throughway. As you come out from under the overpass there is an on ramp access immediately to the left.
Proceed less than 1 mile to exit 128 and exit onto Foster Thurston Drive. Follow this winding and hilly Drive past the Cherry Brook Zoo. Foster Thurston Drive becomes Sandy Point Road after passing the intersection just past the Zoo entrance. You'll see the golf course entrance on the left at 1255 Sandy Point Road.
Directions from Hotel Courtney Bay location at Haymarket Square
From parking lot exit turn right on Crown Street.
After passing through a traffic light by Shoppers Drug Mart, turn right on Harris Street
( you’ll see a Boys and Girls Club building on your right).
Turn left on Brunswick Drive and proceed about 300 yards to Richmond Street. Turn right
onto Richmond Street.
At the top of Richmond Street turn left onto Waterloo Street.
Turn right onto Paddock Street after passing the Rogers Cable Building.
Follow Paddock Street until you reach the traffic lights at Garden Street. (you’ll
see the big copper dome at this intersection )
Go straight through the traffic lights and you will be over-passing the Saint
John throughway.
Follow the signs to UNBSJ and the Saint John Regional Hospital. The golf course entrance
is just past the hospital entrance at 1255 Sandy Point Road.

right hand side just prior to reaching the hospital entrance. Drop in and blast a
bucket before your round.
Directions from Holiday Inn Express at the corner of Main Street and Chesley Drive.
From the Chesley Drive exit at the lobby level turn right onto Chesley Drive.
Proceed straight through two sets of traffic lights ( you’ll see a Mcdonalds restaurant on
your right).
You are now on Lansdowne Avenue and you’ll see a large shopping centre on the left hand
side. Go straight down Lansdowne Avenue until you reach Visart Street.
Turn left on Visart, proceed to the first set of traffic lights then turn right onto
Churchill Boulevard.
Go straight through the next set of traffic lights which crosses Somerset Street and
becomes Sam Davis Drive.
The golf course entrance is 2.8 KM from this intersection, straight ahead and just past
the entrance to the Saint John Regional Hospital at 1255 Sandy Point Road.

Directions from Saint John Hilton Hotel.
Bear right after exiting the underground parking lot onto Smythe Street.
Go straight at the first stop sign, staying on Smythe Street.
Turn right onto Station Street and proceed straight past Harbour Station.
Turn right onto Garden Street, just prior to the large Irving gas and convenience store.
Go up the Garden Street Hill to the traffic lights immediatetly adjacent to the large
copper dome.
Turn right at the traffic lights and you’ll be overpassing the Saint John throughway.
Follow the signs to the Saint John Regional Hospital. The golf course is located 300 yards
past the entrance to the hospital at 1255 Sandy Point Road.
You’ll see the entrance to the Rockwood Park Aquatic Driving Range on the right hand side just
prior to reaching the hospital entrance. Drop in and blast a bucket before your round.
Directions from Delta Brunswick on King Street.
From the Brunswick Square parking lot exit left on Union Street.
Turn right onto Main Street at the traffic light and proceed over the Saint John throughway to
the third set or traffic lights.
Take a right turn at this intersection onto Lansdowne Avenue. You’ll see a McDonalds Restaurant
on your right.
Proceed straight through the next traffic lights staying on Lansdowne Avenue. You’ll see a large
shopping centre on the left hand side. Go straight down Lansdowne Avenue until you Reach Visart
Street.
Turn left on Visart, proceed to the first set of traffic lights then turn onto Churchill
Boulevard.
Go straight through the next set of traffic lights which crosses Somerset Street and becomes

From the Main parking lot pass through the parking lot at the front of the building which
leads to Simonds Street. Go right on Simonds. Turn left onto Main Street at the traffic
light. Take a right turn at the first set of traffic lights onto Lansdowne Avenue. You’ll
see a McDonalds restaurant on your right.
Proceed straight through the next traffic lights staying on Lansdowne Avenue. You’ll see a
large shopping centre on the left hand side. Go straight down Lansdowne Avenue until you
reach Visart Street.
Turn left on Visart, proceed to the first set of traffic lights then turn right onto

Highway Routes
The golf course is easily accessed from Highway #1, a mainly twinned highway
which runs between St. Stephen and Sussex in Southern New Brunswick following
the magnificent Bay of Fundy coast.
From St. Stephen
Approaching Saint John from the West (St. Stephen side
of the City) on Highway #1 take Exit #123. Make a left
at the exit traffic light and follow the signs to the
Saint John Regional Hospital entrance. (Be careful
you’re following the signs to the Regional, and not
St. Joseph’s!) The golf course entrance is about 300
yards past the hospital entrance on the right hand
side at 1255 Sandy Point Road. Should you have any
trouble, there is a large Visitor Information Center
located on Highway #1 just as you enter Saint John
from the West.
From Fredericton
Approaching from the North on Highway #7 from Fredericton,
simply head east on Highway #1 when you reach the end
of Highway #7, and follow the directions above (from
the west).
From Sussex/Moncton
Approaching Saint John from the East on Highway #1, take
Exit #128. Taking the winding and hilly Foster Thurston
Drive past the Cherry Brook Zoo, follow the signs to
the Saint John Regional Hospital along the way. You’ll
see the golf course entrance on the left prior to reaching
the hospital entrance.
